ABOUT

The Maynard 4 Foundation

The Maynard 4 Foundation is like no other in every aspect. We’re standing at a precipice preparing to take a leap of faith and venture out on this new endeavor. We are trusting our current and future partners to help realize our vision of creating a holistic approach to ensure that we are at our strongest as a nation. And with all of us working together, we aim to bring creative change to all integral facets of our society from matters involving our youth, to our educational institutions, to the offices of corporate America. Our innovative programs and initiatives offer remedies for injustice as we focus on the entire evolution of the healing process and not just a singularity.

Founder, Suntrease Williams-Maynard comes from humble beginnings; however, she has been able to break down obstacles and create a pathway to success. She puts tireless energy into everything she loves, including her family, who is integral in all of her success.  She has decades of experience in designing programs. Her first informal organization as a young girl emphasized and encouraged the importance of reading. She hosted meetings at the library of the local college in her hometown and invited younger students to read for hours and practice public speaking. Her passion for program development only continued in her adult life. Serving as Vice President of Programs for a national organization, she hosted Youth Camps in Washington, D.C., and New Orleans, LA. As a law student, she created Bootcamps when she held another national position and hosted for aspiring law students nationwide. She partnered with a number of law schools in order to host boot camps in the Northeast, Southeast, and West Coast.

“My Grandmother, Pattie Ann Jackson – the wisest person I’ve ever known – would often remind me that to whom much is given, much is required. Like many, I’ve weathered my share of storms, however, it was those tribulations and my faith in God, that not only made me a stronger person…they birthed my passion and ignited my Christian responsibility to extend myself and tirelessly work to address the issues of today, and to ultimately be the servant that God created me to be.”

He is also active in his local Boy Scouts Troop and his local chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated.

He also enjoys programming and coding his own video games.
